I’m sorry, but with questions like that you clearly are not of the caliber of our left stream media.

The restaurant association also released a statement Friday confirming that it had agreed to the settlement with Bennett’s client in September 1999 “without any admission of liability.” The statement noted that Cain had denied the allegations at the time and was not a party to the settlement.

Mr. Bennett provided additional "anonymous but very specific and anomalous details, which can only be done be one of the "TOP WASHINGTON DC ATTORNEYS".

In a very vacuous statement, prepaid by and prepared by the now famous anonymous 5 foot tall, happily married {26 years} woman, she has been given permission by the NRA to come forward and identify herself and speak out, but she would rather stay hidden and throw shit from behind the skirts of this fag attorney, "She stands behind her statements, her lawyer, her anonymity, her original inflated charges, her sexist attitude, her gender, mother , her husband, BUT, INSISTS, Herman Cain is a black, rapist and he looked at and talked with her, and she felt uncomfortable.

The deeper the liars digg this hole for themselves, the more convinced I am that David Axelrod and thus little barry bassturd are behind the lynching. A black man in full could not be allowed to rise to prominence because the contrast with the zero pResident would be too much and the democrap party would lose too many herd voters.

-- Anonymous accuser that refuses to talk about what might or might not have happened 26 years ago. --

The accusation is from 1999, 12 years ago. The accuser's attorney volunteered that the accuser has been married 26 years.

I just saw “the accuser’s” shyster lawyer on FNC. The boy ain’t giving it up. Pretty soon, he’ll be filing harassment complaints against Cain himself. The boy sure does like all of the attention he’s getting from the morons in the leftwing “media”. He’s a “hero”.

There is an entire generation, mostly the women, who cannot distinguish unvarnished, unpleasant truth from liable, let alone the nuances of disparagement vs. slander.

My experience with these women is that, faced with an uncomfortably truthful assessment of their work or personal efforts, first allege illegality against the speaker and then scream for an attorney. If the attorney declines to accept their *case*, they then slink away silently to nurse a huge grudge against the person who had the temerity to tell them the truth.

They also usually have enormous, unearned self-esteem and totally unrealistic belief in their own competence and physical appeal.

If the names of these women are released, I will bet that there are numerous instances of the above in their personal lives.

Why would Cain remember the complaint?

It was filed after he left the National Restaurant Association. NRA would have had no reason to inform him of the settlement They made.

I'm guessing the "several points" have nothing to do with Cain, but with other individuals or situations, sexual or otherwise.

Also,What is an Ivy League graduate (as she supposedly is), doing working for peanuts while living in Washington, DC? Is she completely unambitious, or in love with Restaurants, ......or does she have "issues"???

Stop lying, the woman has never said a word, only the mouth piece of an attorney has said anything.

I think it would be wise to stop condemning these women.

Maybe they were nut cases, over sensitive or whatever, but the point is WE DO NOT know that.

What we do know is that these women did not make this situation public. As far as anyone knows, they’ve never said a word in the last years.

When they made the complaints, it was certainly not to take Cain down in politics. Mr. Cain was not in politics nor was there any reason to think he ever would be.

Why condemn these women because they won’t speak now?

I wouldn’t speak either. I would stay far away from the publicity and hate that would follow me if I said anything.

These women are not to blame for Cain’s current troubles.

Although calling them troubles is a bit of a reach since he seems to be profiting from them.

The statement also said the association has waived a confidentiality requirement, giving Bennett’s client permission to speak about the allegations. Bennett said his client, who has been married for 26 years, does not plan to do so.

noooo... the wretch HAS talked, it simply doesn't want it's name reveled

That’s a little ugly.

The woman has been married for 26 years. That speaks pretty well for her stability to me.

Would you come forward and reveal your name to the kind of haters in the general public that we see on this thread?

People who would call you a wretch without knowing anything whatever about you?

I wouldn’t.

Me too, I had mostly male co-workers and most of the words and actions were harmless and I dealt with it. Only once did I feel intimidated and I told my other co-workers and they put the fear of God in this guy, he never even dared to look in my direction again much less leer at me.

You know, she could have had Bennett make a statement along the lines of, This matter was closed fifteen years ago when I signed off on an agreement to that effect, and I demand the press leave me, my family, and everyone involved alone. Case closed.

Instead, she had Bennett say, Leave me alone, but please, by all means, continue hounding Herman Cain.

And if you think the statement was Bennett’s, and that he was not speaking for her, then she damned well better fire Bennett and get another attorney to state as much.

That’s a stretch. So, she was supposed to say nothing happened just to make everybody happy? If it happened, it happened.

Let me see if I have this straight. One, two, three (or more) women complained about ‘something’ about Mr. Cain.

Mr. Cain wants to sue Politico for lying — they didn’t.

Mr. Cain blames Perry for leaking the story — he didn’t.

Mr. Cain blames his former staffer, Anderson, for leaking the story — he says he didn’t and there’s no evidence that he did.

Everyone blames the women.

The only innocent party in this whole affair is poor Mr. Cain, who, by the way, has been milking it for all it’s worth.

Well, I gotta say ... phony sexual harassment suits are not as common as people here seem to think and they certainly weren’t common back then.

My husband was a supervisor in insurance for years and no one ever complained about him. My son was plant manager for a large plant and no one ever complained about him.

However, my daughter is a human resource manager and worked for a large company and she has seen some weird complaints from weird people.

So, I’m not saying it doesn’t happen. I’m just saying it doesn’t usually happen.

I agree. At least Paula Jones and the other Clinton victims came forward—regardless of the vicious attacks they faced. If you’re going to make an accusation, at least put your name and face on it.

Unlike you, I don’t think what’s going on is all that “obvious.” There are games being played here, and some of them are probably not what they seem. I know a lot of folks are anxious (even gleeful) to blame Rick Perry and/or his campaign, and others blame Romney. Lots of blame, no research from Freepers—unlike previous cases of this sort. What happened to the place, that they’d rather point fingers at everyone, including other Freepers, than get to the bottom of this situation?
