I see.

And yet you wonder why she doesn’t go public?

It is not a stretch. Stop being small-minded.

Who leaked the info? One of two things is true:

1) The woman herself, in which case she deserves whatever comes her way for “coming out” anonymously and giving no specifics whatsoever. Not to mention she violated the confidentiality she agreed to. Would you not agree?

2) Not the woman, in which case one of two things is true:

.....a) she wants the info out there, presumably to hurt Cain (I can’t think of any other reason, can you?), in which case it is incumbent on her to reveal her identity and provide the specific allegations. Would you not agree?

.....b) she does not want the info out there, in which case she can have her lawyer issue a clear statement to that effect, demanding that the press stop writing speculative stories about the her and Cain because she does not wish to revisit the issue. Agreed?

Well, did Cain sign a non-disclosure agreement?

Why can’t he talk?

Couldn’t he explain exactly what happened with the women?

If he lied, that might provoke them into coming forward if that’s what he wants.

A male co-worker once told me a horribly crude joke. I told him to “get out of my office”. He left, then a few minutes later, called me, asking, “Are you going to turn me in?” I said, “I won’t turn you in THIS time. If you EVER talk to me like that again, I’ll turn you in alright - first I’ll turn you in to YOUR wife, then I’ll turn you in to MY husband.” He never bothered me again.

I completely agree.

And you can say the same thing about the race card.

I shared an office with a young, very short, black, lesbian. She went to school at an upstate New York liberal women’s college. So she was an odd combination of stereotypes.

Over the course of the year that we had to work together, I made a comment that black people age well, and it’s difficult to tell the age of older black people. I made a comment that, in general, black people tend to have straight teeth. I made another comment that black people have a high incidence of lactose intolerance.

She called me racist. She complained to our boss about these racist comments.

The first one happens to be fact, but it’s ALSO my personal opinion, “racist” or “racial” or not. She cited cases of black people who had led a life of drugs and how they look very aged.
The second one is fact. She said she and her sister had braces on their teeth.
The third one is fact. She said it’s not true, but if there was any “scientific evidence” for it, it’s only because white people do studies on black people like they are animals.

She couldn’t handle simple facts if they included race. Her race. Conversely, it would be just fine to say “white women have a high incidence of osteoporosis.” She would agree with that.

Since you bring up Hillary (who obviously stayed with Bill for political advantages to both of them), it is interesting that Mr. Cain is using the Hillary defense.

“Sorry, I do not recall.”

Well, I don’t agree.

These women are probably well aware of what happened to Paula Jones and the other Clinton accusers.

Who’d want to go through that?

Only someone who was willing to absolutely ruin her private life to destroy Cain, while realizing it wouldn’t succeed.

Did Paula Jones destroy Clinton. Did Juanita Broderick? Clinton had a list of victims as long as Godzilla’s arm and nothing destroyed him. Of course we expect a little more from Republicans, especially avowed Christians and family men.

“Couldn’t he explain exactly what happened with the women?”

First off, one woman. If anyone else can show me REAL evidence of any other, then fine.

And he did explain what happened. He disputed wrong doing then and he continues to do so now.

You just don’t like his answer. You are convinced for some reason that he MUST be guilty. You completely ignore the many people who worked with Cain who came forward BY NAME to tell that this was WAY out of character for him.

I think I am beginning to be anti-Cain.

I was feeling that way before this whole women fiasco started.

I don’t see that much to recommend him for President.

I know that he was an up by his own bootstraps guy and a fairly successful businessman. I know that he served in a borderline way in the military. I’m pretty sure he is quite a smart guy.

I believe that he is anti-abortion, tho he goofed in explaining his exact stance.

I know that he made an inconsequential attempt at a senate run.

I know that he’s hired a very strange campaign manager. I know that he is quick to lose his temper and blame others.

I know that he made an unjustified attack on Perry over a bogus Washington Post story.

I know that he’s shown a bit too much ignorance on foreign policy.

I know that his wife and most of his friends in his church are democrats and pro-affirmative action and special priviliges for certain minorities.

I know that he has absolutely no record in politics and therefore nothing to be attacked for but also nothing to be proud of.

I THINK that he is a fad, vote cute candidate who attracts people who want somebody perfect and nothing is more perfect than a blank slate on which you can paste your own hopes and dreams.

I know that the first real test of his candidacy has come with the latest little scandal and that he’s handled it poorly, in my estimation.

So, no, I’m not a Cain person. You can readily see by my tag line that I’m what you would probably call a Perrywinkle, a Perrybot, or just an idiot.

just so's you know, i am somewhat familiar with SH- while working for a major Fortune-500 company i walked into a chart room one morning and said “Good morning Ladies” to the three women in there(not always the same three and this time one i never saw before), picked up what i needed and left

that afternoon i was called into the department head's office, he ask what went on in the chartroom?

i told him nothing, why? he said i was being called for sexual harassment for calling them ladies… it’s sexist!

i laughed and he laughed and i laughed and he said he wasn’t kidding

he didn’t know who did it but i had a good idea and so did he. turns out the new one of them was a Dyke to who I never uttered another word to from then on unless forced

i narrowly avoided having to goto Diversity Training

If Cain makes it to the general...

I'll bet this woman will suddenly find her “voice” and end up on 60 Minutes...with all the details....and no confidentially agreement.

Who would “want” to? I doubt no one would “want” to go through that. And yet, sometimes there are higher reasons than what we “want.” For a charge that serious, I think some courage is in order. Otherwise, just keep quiet, because it will LOOK like just another attack on a popular political figure.

Do you seriously trust “anonymous” sources? I hate reading somewhere that “anonymous sources” said this or that. I want to know who said it, and often, you’ll learn a lot from that. Otherwise, anyone can simply print, or post, or broadcast the most outrageously untrue things.

Dateline FR, 11/5/11 “Anonymous sources say Altura is actually Al Gore working undercover.” Should anyone dignify this with even a hint of a presumption of truth? ;)

That’s why I think they should put a name and a face to it. It’s not that I think (as some have said) they “deserve whatever they get,” because they don’t. It’s just for the sake of authentication. If they turn out to be congenital liars with a long history of these kinds of claims, it will tell us something important. If, on the other hand, their lives tell a story of integrity and honesty, it tells us something else.

And if Cain really wants to be President, we the people truly need to know.

So when is Perry going to correct the record when he said, “Our campaign had nothing to do with it”? Chris Wilson is a known tie to Perry and went on record accusing Cain: http://www.theconservativereview.com/2011/11/02/perry-operative-accuses-cain-of-sexual-harassment-to-politico-of-course/

Cast of Characters in the Lynching of Herman Cain:
http://www.voicesempower.com/%E2%80%9Ccast-of-characters-in-the-lynching-of-herman-cain%E2%80%9D/

There is a lot that needs to be addressed there by the Perry campaign AND the Romney campaign, who also has known ties to this story as Diogenesis has pointed out. The truth is going to come out about all of this, bank on it.

I find it interesting that when this story broke, it was Perry supporters that ran with it as the truth. They defended it the entire week (other candidate supporters stayed quiet for the most part). And now with the facts staring you in the face, there are only TWO groups who are still pushing this story as fact. Perry supporters and Democrats!

But we do know what Cain did! Get this — Politico is now trying to portray Cain in a positive light, for having been out front at NRA with sexual harassment training and policy implementation.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/2802928/posts

Something tells me Bennett finally showed Politico a copy of that severance agreement, and they all soiled themselves. Maybe this is an attempt to placate Herman and avoid a lawsuit. LMAO!

The rest of the article contains interesting information:

Here’s the “detail” on his 3rd “accuser,” a woman who also came through the Bennett channel:

“Accounts of a third incident have surfaced in news reports. Bennett, in an interview on CNN on Friday following his news conference, said he received a phone call from a woman claiming that she, too, was sexually harassed by Cain.

Bennett said the woman left a recorded message, but when he returned her call, she had decided not to pursue the matter, he said.”

Now, imagine any Leftist calling Bennett’s office, leaving the message, getting the return call, and saying “oh, never mind.” While there might have been a third case, and that third case might have been more egregious than the first two, the fact is that this is all we have...ridiculous.

If lawyer Bennett leaves his answering machine on over this weekend, he could have another dozen or more such claims by Monday. In fact, if Mark Block thinks of it, he might have a few women make those calls, tape them, and see if Bennett “releases” that information as well.
