That’s a stretch. So, she was supposed to say nothing happened just to make everybody happy? If it happened, it happened.

Let me see if I have this straight. One, two, three (or more) women complained about ‘something’ about Mr. Cain.

Mr. Cain wants to sue Politico for lying — they didn’t.

Mr. Cain blames Perry for leaking the story — he didn’t.

Mr. Cain blames his former staffer, Anderson, for leaking the story — he says he didn’t and there’s no evidence that he did.

Everyone blames the women.

The only innocent party in this whole affair is poor Mr. Cain, who, by the way, has been milking it for all it’s worth.

It is not a stretch. Stop being small-minded.

Who leaked the info? One of two things is true:

1) The woman herself, in which case she deserves whatever comes her way for “coming out” anonymously and giving no specifics whatsoever. Not to mention she violated the confidentiality she agreed to. Would you not agree?

2) Not the woman, in which case one of two things is true:

.....a) she wants the info out there, presumably to hurt Cain (I can’t think of any other reason, can you?), in which case it is incumbent on her to reveal her identity and provide the specific allegations. Would you not agree?

.....b) she does not want the info out there, in which case she can have her lawyer issue a clear statement to that effect, demanding that the press stop writing speculative stories about the her and Cain because she does not wish to revisit the issue. Agreed?
