I can get into FReep mail but when I click on the item, it does not open.

I was wondering if there is an easier way to post photos here. Every time I want to post one of my own photos, I have to upload to Photobucket and grab the HTML code. Is there a program or Firefox add on that can assign HTML code when the file is saved?

We've received many requests from freepers requesting that other freepers not post to them. There are several problems with this. 1. It's impossible for us to enforce.2. When I am replying to posts and I hit the refresh button I'm getting ALL sorts of weird stuff--'document does not exist on server', page reloads back to original with no replies, blank pages...[cue twilight zone music while waving at WH flunkies in charge of DOS attack]...

Been having a LOT of problems with connectivity with FreeRepublic. Runs very slow, sometimes drops off. Is FR getting slammed and getting overloaded, or (black helicopter time) is it a conspiracy to interfere with FR?

How do I add a video to my blog posts so that they show up? I have seen some posts with videos I can watch but when I look at my previews I cannot tell if they work or not.

Is it that I have just noticed the "Next Page" tag/link at the top of the messages, or is it something that is recent? It is really aggravating. I use an Apple most of the time and because of the screen dimensions, I see no messages because the Next-Page tag takes up so much space. Not a complaint, but just a question.

Can someone tell me where html help for Free Republic is located and the general help for posting? I located the html once, but I can't now. I wanted to learn a couple of functions like how to, in a long thread, view just two of the poster's past comments, or three. So I could quickly read the arguement between two or three posters without having to run thru the whole thread.

Today, I notice that the number of thread views is not displaying. The number of replies is. I like to see the number of views because it indicates what subjects are of most interest to FReepers at any time. For example, Palin posts get many views and gets them quick. My posts about Honduras, not so much. Did the recent outages cause the elimination of the "views" data?

Have a new Blackberry Bold bought specifically to keep up with email and favorite website FR. Anyone know how to view, say, the Latest Articles page without the sidebar knocking out the body of the page. As it loads you see the titles of the threads and body, but as it continues to load the sidebar knocks that off the page. Sorry, I'm new at this. Do I need to change Java script? A quick review of their posting history will prove without any shadow of doubt that they are liberal trolls. Some of them try to mask it but they cannot fool the vast majority of us. I know Freepers will solve this one quick, I now have 2 Vista computers thank you for the pity, and on both FR (and I guess other sites but I mainly care about FR) does not refresh every time I reopen Internet Explorer, I always have to press the refresh symbol. I never had this problem on my XP running computers. I can't find how to change the refresh rate. Thanks in advance computer wizarda.

Posting embedded video on forums threads is common among internet discussion sites. I don't see why we can't have that on FR. It won't put any additional burden on the FR servers and will save posters and readers the inconvenience of leaving FR to visit an external site (Youtube, etc). Policy makers please consider this. I need some help, I have pictures of President Bush's last vist to Camp Victory in Iraq 12/08 and I like to post them next to "Zero's" recent visit to show what a piece of propaganda the pictures of "Zero's" visit was.

I have a photo that I would like to post. If I understand it correctly, I need to upload the photo somewhere so it can be retrieved by FR. My question is where do people upload photos to? Hopefully, I'm on the right path.
