Spot on. As to the length of the sentencing, if convicted on all counts, and if forced to serve consecutively, it would mean a 136-year prison sentence.
To be fair, CNN has been playing it pretty straight down the middle on the Bragg case, slamming it as a terribly weak case and admitting it’s boosting Trump in the polls.
My sense is that we’re well into a Constitutional crisis. The ruling party tried to assassinate the leading opposition candidate, and is now trying to imprison him. This more than just election interference.
Gut tells me the immunity decisiion will be broad, gutting half of the DC J6 case and a good portion of the documents case. If the Fischer conviction is overturned, goodbye to the remaining two counts in the J6 case.
