US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has arrived in Ukraine as weapons from a new American aid package begin arriving at the front line.

His visit comes as the country struggles to hold back a major Russian incursion near its second biggest city of Kharkiv.

Ahead of Mr Blinken's arrival in Kyiv, a senior US official said the American-funded weapons now arriving at the front line included air defence interceptors, artillery and ATACMS long-range precision guided missiles.

"We have already started to flow in artillery [and] long-range ATACMS that can range any part of Ukraine, and also other air defence capabilities that are meant to meet the most pressing needs, particularly with an eye towards Russia's activities right now in Kharkiv," the official said.

Blinken and Sullivan are complete failures. Biden should sack both due to their botched China diplomacy.

This administration has done more damage to trust in the US economic leadership causing every nation outside of NATO to explore alternative banking and trade.

Blinken’s dad was a diplomat and daddy paved the way for a second generation corrupt son to cash in on yet another wealth scheme.

Blinken is a worst actor and deliverer of lines than Biden in his current condition. This man lacks the necessary attention span to formulate any long-term sense of world events. Blinken has been responsible for the Americans and French being pushed out of three African countries.

He is not even a useful idiot.

Hillary’s “smart power” on display, that.

At least Blinken didn't repeat our ‘ironclad’ commitment to Ukraine.

They polled the college age demographic and found that war isn’t very popular if the prospect of personally going is on the table.

Didn’t Blinken do the same thing right before Afghanistan folded and the Taliban took over.

For a head coach, there's nothing worse than the "vote of confidence."

If this Russian offensive we are hearing about succeeds in taking Kharkiev over the summer, Zelensky could end up in a villa in some country or taken out by people around him.

I don’t what’s true, supposedly the Russians came across the border without opposition, you see reports of people in Ukraine asking where the defensive lines were.

It appears that mathematics of attrition are beginning to function in Russia’s favor. Ukraine may have simply not had the troops to defend the area.

They average Ukranian Soldier has been screwed by the military and political leadership of the country, they have stolen the money intended to support the soldier.

Sooner or later the mathematics of attrition and realization of the soldier that this battle is pointless will set in, we may have reached that point, and the Russians will overwhelm them.

Ukraine has been "screwed" by the US political leadership, that stopped supplying weapons.

Ukraine has been "screwed" by the Western political leadership, that demands that its weapons cannot be used on Russian soil, thereby allowing Russians to buildup an invasion force across the border without fear of attack.
