In Malmö, the twenty-year-old Israeli Eurovision contestant, Eden Golan, sits as a prisoner in her hotel room and requires a police helicopter and over a hundred officers to get her safely to the competition venue:

Miss Golan is actually younger than the diminutive Greta Thunberg howling with the mob outside the hotel, but, unlike the sainted Miss Thunberg, does not attract the sympathies of the world. I have been asked by readers what I make of last night's scenes, and I sigh wearily. Not so long ago, my somewhat tedious catchphrase was "As I said ten years ago..." In the case of Malmö, it's "As I said fifteen years ago...", and closing in on "As I said twenty years ago..." Here's your humble scribe in May 2009:

For a glimpse of the future, consider the (for the moment) bizarre circumstances of the recent Davis Cup First Round matches in Sweden. They had been scheduled long ago to be played in the Baltiska Hallen stadium in Malmo. Who knew which team the Swedes would draw? Could have been Chile, could have been Serbia. Alas, it was Israel.

Rumor has it that *all* of Sweden used to be a nice place. But then,a few years back,an East German hausfrau named Merkel decided that millions of moslems *must* be allowed into Europe.Remember...the Schengen Agreement states that once you're admitted into one member state you're free to settle in any other member state.

Protesters, mostly Arabic speakers gathered in each of the locations while Palestinian flags appeared on apartment block windows around the city. Greta Thunberg was among the marchers who chanted calls for the destruction of Israel and the Jews. "Send the Jews back to Poland," some of the protesters shouted, "...Sinwar we will not let you die," others called.

I took the train over the water to Malmö in Sweden. Malmö was one of the first Christian cities in what was then Denmark. It's now on course to become the first Muslim city in Sweden. I sat and had a coffee in a nice little place in a beautiful medieval square in the heart of town. Aside from a few modernist excrescences, it would not have looked so different in the early days of the Lutheran church. I got lucky, and fell into conversation with a couple of cute Swedish blondes. Fine-looking ladies. I shall miss Scandinavian blondes when they're extinct. At dusk, and against their advice, I took a 20-minute walk to Rosengård. As you stroll the sidewalk, the gaps between blondes grow longer, and the gaps between young bearded Muslim men grow shorter. And then eventually you're in the housing projects, and all the young boys kicking a soccer ball around are Muslim, and every single woman is covered – including many who came from "moderate" Muslim countries and did not adopt the headscarf or hijab until they emigrated to Sweden, where it's compulsory, at least in Rosengård.

I'm going to miss Scandinavian blondes. And brunettes too.

I’ve been to Malmo. It used to be a really nice place................
My maternal grandparents moved from Borås in 1980 to a middle class community on the outskirts of Malmö . I went to Malmö every year from 1980 to 2006. I saw Sweden modernize grow economically as they moved away from Socialism in the 1990s. Unfortunately, Malmo became less and less Swedish. In 1998 my mother told me not to wear my Star of David necklace in Sweden, even though it had been a Bar Mitzvah gift from my uncle in Sweden. I didn't listen to her and simply tucked it in under by shirt. My Swedish cousin was worked for the Swedish Moderates (right of Center) and took me and my mother to a local luncheon by the center-right opposition parties in Malmo. I met the head of the Christian Democrats who spoke to me about Swedish-Israel relations. A majority of Jews in the region were already voting for the Christian Democrats, because they were the only party that wasn't anti-Israel. Two nights later, I turned 21 and my Grandfather and uncle took me to a pub. There was a Swedish bachelor party on the other side, where the very drunk groom-to-be was dressed in a silly costume and everyone in the party and then pub tore his clothing. While I tore his shirt sleeve, he lost his balance and spilled his drink on me, which revealed the Star of David. When I asked for a beer, the waiter saw it, cursed in Arabic and said that we didn't belong in the bar.
Things would only get worse. In 2003, my grandfather passed away. The Jewish cemetery is near an infamous immigrant center dominated be Muslims and the cab driver, who picked us up near the Synagogue warned us to be careful and gave us his phone number. During the burial, Arab children threw stones at us laughing that we needed them for the graves. (Jews place stones on graves instead of flowers.) The last time I was in Malmo was in 2007 for my grandmother's funeral. Both the synagogue and cemetery chapel bore burn marks from failed firebombings. The gravestones in the section near the chapel had all been defaced and were being restored. No cab drivers wanted to pick us up, but we were able to get a ride with a cousin. The next day, I went for a walk and saw that the haberdashery and leather store owned by a family friend had been robbed and vandalized.
I have had no desire to return.

Muslims are like cockroaches.

They destroy everything they come in contact with.

When will people wake up?

Muslims are not your ‘friends’.

They may act like it, but it is just a façade.

They want you and your family dead or converted to Islam.

There is no appeasing them. You are an ‘infidel’ and must be enslaved, killed or converted.

Westerners are too complacent and too naïve to realize they are being systematically invaded, displaced and ultimately destroyed.

They should have neve been allowed to set foot in any Western Country.

The reason being that according to their ‘sacred’ koran (SPIT) anyplace a muslim sets his foot then becomes a muslim country.

It may already be too late. If 911 and 10-7 didn’t wake people up, then Western Civilization is lost................
