Massachusetts Democrat Gov. Maura Healey signed the state budget, which provides an additional $426 million for housing illegals even as the state ranks as one of the worst for citizens fleeing.
The Bay State is a sanctuary state with a “right to shelter” law that requires government to put homeless people into housing, at least for a period of time. The law has caused the state to spend hundreds of millions since President Joe Biden’s border crisis exploded:

Biden won Massachusetts by 33 points.

This is just a grift dressed up as “migrant” housing. All of their “reasons” are bullsh*t and meant to make middle age wine moms feel good about themselves for their votes. Not a dollar will cause a single person to go back and it’ll all be gone in 6 months, then they’ll pass more $$ for “existing” programs.
The $$ will go to donors running flop houses, food services, free medical care, etc. It’s embezzlement from regular tax payers is all, just like the homeless programs.
This is all American politicians are about. $61 Bill to Ukeland, but nearly all of it to US weapons industry for “replacement” of the old stock sent overseas, who’ll then “donate” to the same politicians. Billions for illegals, and nearly all $$ goes to companies giving temporary rooms at $250 a nite and $40 baloney sandwiches, and then the donations come rolling in.
It’s a grift. All of it.

If you would have asked her for $426 for children, veterans, anything ... she would have lamented about cuts in funding, no can do.
