A California mayor is suing her own city for $7.5million – and is still running for re-election.

Deborah Robertson, 73, has been mayor of Rialto, a city of a little over 100,000 people east of Los Angeles, since 2012.

City documents show she filed three separate claims last year alleging age and racial discrimination, invasion of privacy and improper handling of her retirement fund, with a total liability she estimated at $7,482,000.

Back in the days of the steel mill, Rialto and Fontana were blue collar white. I believe the entire San Gabriel Valley and its communities are now majority Hispanic.

Anyone wonder why Africa is such a failure? Also Government employees need to be cut off from these lucrative unsustainable retirement programs and make them responsible for their own retirement. These people are supposed to be public servants, they make more than most of the people they are supposed to be serving.
