There is a graphic T-shirt that’s popular in “Indian country” and on some left-wing college campuses. It comes in several versions, but the most popular has several Native Americans in traditional dress hoisting rifles while looking sternly at the camera. “Homeland Security: Fighting Illegal Immigration Since 1492,” it reads. Another version with the same picture says, “We should have built a wall.”

I've seen variants of that T shirt. My favorite is the same image with the caption something to the effect of 'Border Patrol - as ineffective now as in 1492.'

BTW they didn't have rifles until the European invaders brought them.

Were there immigration laws then? Heck there were not even states or borders.

I have a T-Shirt that shows “Native” American chiefs holding rifles. The text says “Give up your guns, the government will protect you.”
