And to this day my assets are in the US, and my income derive from US sources.

It IS one world, and it has been that for at least 500 years, since actual world trade began. You yourself are a product of globalism - if it weren’t so you would, today, be herding sheep on some European moor. Ignore it if you like, but that is just perpetuating your own ignorance.
