In the 1960s the political class was saying that aerosols were causing global cooling and we should all be worried about it. Maybe the coal marketers went along with it and said, “Don’t blame us. We’re actually part of the solution.”

Hydrocarbon emissions from vehicle exhaust and stack emissions from refineries and other industries also.
I remember well, the papers were screaming we were about to fall into an ice age.
THE SKY IS FALLING THE SKY IS FALLING!

We moved to Tennessee in the late 60’s. Cold, snowy winters were the norm. School busses had chains on the tires so that we could go to school. In the 80’s, it was normal to have to bust the ice on the farm pond for the animals.

We seldom get snow now and I haven’t busted ice in 20 years or more but doesn’t climate change on its own without it being caused by humans? Isn’t that normal? Haven’t there been ice ages and ice melts since the beginning? Weren’t the volcanos of years ago (before people) the major cause of climate change?

I believe in natural climate change like global warming and cooling but NOT this manmade hoax pushed by the left.
