Completely insane. Canada is the 2nd largest country on earth and still - despite mass immigration - has a relatively small population which is less than that of California. There is no reason why housing should be unaffordable.
For starters, they could shut down mass immigration and do what many countries have done which is bar foreigners from buying real estate in their country. That would reset the market at a stroke.
Not that I’m buying into the claims of the Gaia worshipers but, if Canada gets a few degrees warmer....this would be bad for Canadians???? Their country is mostly a giant ice cube. 90% of their population lives within 100 miles of the US. Its the only part that’s inhabitable. The rest is too cold. So if it got warmer, the zone of land on which people could live would expand northward a bit. Productive farmland would expand northward a bit.
This would be a bad thing????
I’d welcome non Vancouver BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, maybe Yukon. The rest, we don’t want. Quebec and Ontario (along with Vancouver) we ESPECIALLY don’t want....though the Maratimes are no prize either.
Canada is wealthy in terms of natural resources but its obvious that Trudeau is not allowing them to develop the land. I bet it is impossible to build a new house in Canada so the population is expanding due to immigration but they are not allowed to expand the housing supply.
Is it a secret report form the police or is it a report from the secret police. In Trudeau’s Canukistan it could be either or both.
