A more existential question here but with very real world implication and importance. What would make Dem operatives in blue cities too afraid of consequences to enthusiastically take part in these massive cheat operations that apparently have been going on for decades? Anything?

Interesting question.

The Dem cheaters might (A) shy away from their devil's work if they fear Trump is unstoppable and will appoint a tough AG to prosecute election fraudsters.

On the other hand, they may choose to (B) double down on their cheating in hopes of preventing a Trump presidency and any eventual prosecutions of themselves.

It's a big gamble for them to choose option (B), which may convince them to go with (A).
