I saw it happen to Chris Pronger in 98. Happened to a local minor league hockey player in 18 or 19. It was the tackle. It’s a thing that happens. Thankfully very rarely. But it DOES happen. Looooong before the shot.
There have been more of these cases in the last 2 years than the total in the last 30 years.
LOTS of soccer players and referees have had SDS.
Nobody runs more than soccer players. Check the Swiss study. They are not beholden to our gubmint
