The statement also said the association has waived a confidentiality requirement, giving Bennett’s client permission to speak about the allegations. Bennett said his client, who has been married for 26 years, does not plan to do so.

**********************************************************

LOL, so this slime ball and his client have been begging the NRA to waive the confidentiality agreement and allow the woman to defend herself, and when it is waived and their bluff is called the woman refuses to speak out.

Now doesn't this put a huge exclamation point on this farcical event?

It's even better/worse than that!

I watched the press conference Live. This is what the attorney said (paraphrasing):

We have not asked the NRA to waive the confidentiality agreement, other than what is contained in this statement, and we do not plan to do so.

!!!!!

The NRA, volunteered their own statement, saying they waive the confidentiality agreement -- effectively telling the world: Go ahead and talk all you want, there is nothing in that agreement that will hurt the NRA OR CAIN.

There is an article floating around somewhere that said the leaders or the members of the NRA had met right before this whole thing broke, and they had unanimously agreed they were going to support (endorse) Cain. Then this broke, so they had to hold off on that, until they got all their ducks in a row. The ducks are now lined up. So I wouldn't be surprised if they endorse Cain at some point. (Caveat: They may feel that this would now hurt Cain more than help him, implying they are in cahoots to "cover up" some phantom sex "scandal.")

No...she’s being smart by not stepping out into the media onslaught she and her family would surely face. She’s made her statement via her attorney...(which frankly Cains first statement should have stood and then he should have remained focused on the election)...let it stand.... and Caine needs to do the “moving on” he so often states but fails to do.

Nobody knows except those involved if or not anything happened....I tend to have a yellow light concerning Cain and this matter....

there wasn’t any “value” in revising it.

Maybe next week if a tabloid gives her more “value” in her story - she’ll change her mind.
