Mandating equity destroys excellence. When Academia replaced the meritocracy and the commitment to seek and disseminate knowledge lest they be considered racists, they destroyed the foundation of their institutions. They transformed themselves into a diverse mob of mediocrity where neither freedom or real scholarship exists.
I personally don’t understand the Jewish connection to socialism, other than that there is one.
It is antisemitic and reminder that antisemites are idiots. Horkeimer hated Zionism, when he wrote this. In fact, he would oppose Zionism into the 1950s, changing his position only because the state of Israel existed and was home to so many Jews. Horkheimer’s reponse to Nazis and German Marxist lack of concern for Jews in Nazi Germany was to break from this. But he still wanted to take the religion out of Judaism. Other cultural marxists remained anti-Zionists, but joined his effort to subvert Judaism with critical studies. What is happening today is exactly what they wanted as a group.

Thanks for sharing that we me, brother. Indeed, almost all of the Frankfurters were Jewish, rich, college kids. Some had come through Marx-Engels Institute in Moscow. Frankfurt was all about the Marxists turning from Karl Marx’s economic arguments, which they concluded, had led to their disappointing lack of growth, to developing ways to kill off Western Culture, the last support for Capitalism. Some of the most evil bastards that ever lived. We now see what they’ve spawned, the modern day fruits of their ideology. These little Bolsheviks on college campuses don’t know anything about Horkheimer, Adorno, Lukacs or any other Frankfurters. Like they said, we’ll do it without a shot and they won’t even know why they blindly chant our slogans.
