Pretty much a repeat of the 2018 midterms shaping up. Should have been an affirmation vote for Trump, then too, but about 40 something gop incumbents sold out and left, taking the incumbents advantage with them, away from the gop caucus, and handing the House to the rats.
“ Bill Posey endorsed Mike Haridopolos to replace his seat.
“For many years, Mike has served as my Congressional Finance Committee Chairman, while I have mentored him to replace me,” Posey said. “Mike was, and remains, my first choice to represent you, me, and our district in Congress.”
Seriously tho … why are so many ‘retiring’?
They are doing this so that Jeffries can become majority leader and he can get passed in congress that Trump cannot run for President because he committed “insurrection”
Posey looks like a pretty solid conservative. Pro-life, Pro-2A, etc. The only folks who seem to be unhappy with him are Planned Parenthood and other left-wingers, and Free Republic Assistant Democrats who take every chance to bash Republicans.
They are being threatened or paid off.
Posey is among the best. A true, low profile conservative. Didn’t realize he was that age. His district should be solid red.
This is coordinated for sure to try and give the House to the democrats this November. Such late announcements gives the conservative GOP voters little chance to find and promote a candidate for the seat.
I’m not sure if it is blackmail, bribery, or extortion (all three?) but someone is making it “worth their while” to step down and not run for these seats again.
Yep! EXACTLY! These bastards are colluding with the rats so that if Trump gets a minor conviction, then the rat Congress can pass a bill denying him the presidency. They will be holding both Senate and Congress and can pass this written bill with Biden signing off on it if this is the way Bill’s work ….Don’t doubt me for one freaking second!
I’m starting to think these reps are being coerced. Who knows what blackmailers have on them, or what threats have been made towards them or their families? House members basically are in re-election mode most of the time; that takes money and powerful allies.
