My mother taught me to be patient in my wife search. Growing up, one thing she didn’t verbally teach me: watch out for control freak women. I learned that by observing men’s wives. And I had a striking example with my mother and my aunt.
Though they were identical twins, their personalities were almost opposites. Mom was firm in discipline, but wasn’t a control freak. My aunt was; and it affected her kids to where they really admired my kinder/gentler mother.
As I matured I became good at detecting a control freak chick, even though some were smart enough during the dating/get aquainted time to try to restrain their urge to be bossy. Dated more than one that was very attractive, but would slip up and accidentally display a bossy personality. Deep down they know most guys don’t want bossy girlfriends or wives.

Of course the headline is a lie and drafted that way to get hits. Praising the virtues of being a homemaker is not the same thing as saying “women belong in the kitchen”.

He’s reassuring. Comfortable in his own skin. Not enough of them these days.
One doesn’t have to tolerate something that is evil. Trans, gayness is all a form of evil.
As for a woman’s place....all I can say is IMHO the country started going down hill when women got the right to vote and the American family started to decay when women left the home to work. The government has helped this decay by practically making it impossible for them to stay home because of the need for 2 incomes.
Again, IMHO.
I found it manifests early when she starts to demote and cull your friends. One has to be self-aware enough to know when one's friends are a good or bad influence, but a bossy girlfriend will quickly start to subtly press you to cull acquaintances who she clashes with.

What a perfect description of his wife. I can say the same for mine. I asked her to marry me and before saying yes, she asked if she could stay home with the kids and be a housewife.
37 years later, kids are grown and gone and she’s a great housewife.
One of our daughters is getting married in October and I’m sure that’s her plan too.

yes, men can do many things and so can women, but what he’s talking about is the woman’s paramount place in God’s world—’rocking the cradle’ for the next generation.
