To get back to where the Constitution is observed is going to take some doing. Right now, Trump is the best option for starting that process. He is far from perfect.
But there is nobody else right now.
Natural born citizenship was put in the Constitution for a reason. We don’t just declare it irrelevant because Obama already got away with it. If anything, Obama’s disastrous presidency demonstrates better than anything else could have, why it was put there in the first place.

That's why the VP pick shouldn't be just an add-on calculated to get more votes this time. Pick needs to be someone that can and continue MAGA past any stalling/blocking tactics. Also needs to be someone who would faithfully continue Trump's efforts should DJT die in office—of natural causes (unlikely) or unnatural ones(also not unlikely). Ideally should be someone who'd be expected to continue MAGA with LESS restraint than Trump would, someone who'd leverage Trump martyrdom into dramatic change. So as discourage any attempts to martyr Trump. Think what LBJ did after the death of the then unpopular JFK, until Vietnam backlash pulled him down.
Now where you find that I don't know. But DJT needs to pull one out of his hat if he wants to have a legacy.

It’s still a safeguard that remains in place (at least on paper) as it should. Biden may be a worse president than Obama, but using that as an argument for ignoring natural born citizenship is like arguing that a murder suspect with a long rap sheet shouldn’t be denied bail because the practice didn’t stop “John Doe”, who had no prior arrests, from killing someone.

If so, I’d have to say that as a “a lying, backstabbing, snake” DeSantis has gotten more conservative measures in place in Florida than the rest of the governors in the union have, put together. I would take that any day of the week.
