I pay my State Farm bill monthly for my vehicles.

Payment coupon goes to DALLAS.

When that Texas blackout hit-—NOTHING was getting processed.

I GOT LATE NOTICES....THEY HAD THE CHECK-—BUT computer sent late notice. I have to send a 2nd check.

First check finally cleared & got applied. 3 months later-—
REPEAT of above. Had to send a 2nd check for ‘missed payment’.

ALL 4 finally cleared. I AM ON SS & I do NOT have that kind of extra $$$ around.

NOW—I send the payment directly to my agent-—37 miles away.
EVERY MONTH. HE UNDERSTANDS.

If I were Presient, I would negate all Zero Carbon Crao Orders, round-up ALL Eco-Wacko Assholes, and order them summarily shot. Problem over.

Of course they are not going to save it. But in their twisted illogical thinking, they think a utopia will be created. No grip on reality.

What amazes me is that they think they'll be the survivors who rule!

In my area they are upgrading the electrical system that serves the suburbs. I'm friends with a guy that works at the local substation.

He said these upgrades should have been made 20 years ago but the bureaucracy kept delaying things.

“So - are these the 20-year old plans now?”

“No - but maybe 5 years old now.”

“But that was before all the EV’s, and just now the new state (Washington) mandates to eventually get rid of gas heat and gas cars, how is it going to handle that?”

“It's all computerized and we can vary the loads by sections and times to manage the electricity.”

He said it in more technical terms - but that is what I understood it to mean.

I didn't push the point, but in my mind I'm thinking that sounds like rolling brown outs. Maybe just like some years we can only water the lawn on odd days, cooking and laundry days will have to alternate. And those new “smart meters” can regulate it at the house.

“Also from April 26 is a WSJ article “Air Conditioning and AI Are Demanding More of the World’s Power—Renewables Can’t Keep Up.”

CottonBall : "Not to mention charging all those mandated EVs "

Now aren't you glad that you had those "new and improved" meters that they call "Smart Meters" installed ?
Now, with a flick of a switch from central command, they can turn your power 'off" remotely
because you already used up your rationed allotment !
There is no method of appeal, postponement, or allowed excuse, ..except if your "social credit score" meets their criteria.

“ never thought our own government would devise something worse”

The default position you should maintain at all times is that no matter how great an enemy might be out there to do you harm, the greatest harm you face is ALWAYS from the United States government. The greatest enemy of the American people is the U.S. government, which hates you with a fervor you cannot fathom.

The domestic enemy occupation of our government continues. Just think: The occupation could end Jan. 20th 2025 or Jan. 20th 2029. Anyone in their right mind think this country will make it all the way to 2029? I have high doubts we’ll make it to even 2025.

I now am in the zone of being triggered by the whiny nasal tone of his voice. And by seeing him briefly on any tv ad or in any news item.
Or seeing another evil thing he’s doing.

My hatred of him and his anti-American policies is at new levels.

Holding my Psalms volume more tightly as I read them.

I don’t think coal should be phased out just yet. It’s my understanding that with the scrubbers, that coal is not that bad. It certainly would be better than no electricity in the middle of winter. How about doing this ...set it up so people can sue the pants off the Biden administration, even after he is out of office, if there is a damaging energy disruption at any time of the year that is due to insufficient supply of said energy? That should make them sit up & take notice of the potential damage they are doing to our country.

Oh no, can’t be phased out yet. Not until something feasible is in place. Something like natural gas, we have decades and decades of it, and it’s clean.

So, cancel out the energy that’s made us rich beyond our wildest dreams? Sounds exactly like something Obama would do.

So, you personally going to take full responsibility for killing the coal industry all by yourself. I believe that is called putting a target on yourself.

As to something less expensive as a replacement. There is none and very unlikely there ever will be. Man was able to discover the most plentiful and cheap energy source God made available and expects us to use it, not squander the benefit and blessing due to the insanity of man.
