You are going to need AI self replicating nanorobots aka nanites. The programming wouldn’t be that hard just program them to seek out any carbon,sulfur,phosphorus,nitrogen compound and eat it for energy or at the molecular level tear it apart. The nanorobots would be silicon ,aluminum based so they could eat sand,glass,and clay soils to replicate using all the above organics as fuel. Since every lifeform on earth has one or all of those organics in them the simple seek and distort command for any combo of two of those elements should target every life form on earth surface,in it’s soils,in it’s waters and in the air as well. Not all that difficult once you have nanotechnology.
